FOREST THERAPY

Set in a beautiful natural forest, I created this project with great care and minimal impact on the environment. I worked with the existing landscape and used fallen logs and natural materials found on site. A circular trail connects a small pond, wooden platforms, a gentle creek, and several quiet areas throughout the forest.

Every part of the project was designed to feel natural and peaceful. Visitors can walk along the trail, sit beside the water, practise yoga on the platforms, meditate, or simply pause and enjoy the sounds of the forest. The goal was to create a calm space where people can slow down and feel connected to nature.

Located on the Sunshine Coast, this project took one year to plan and design, with technical guidance from a professor at UBC’s Faculty of Forestry.
